Eigent Technologies has created an innovative new secure RFID product concept that ensures that RFID privacy remains in the the control of the consumer. In contrast to the perforated antenna concept from IBM, this technology provides privacy protection even in the face of higher performing products. The IBM perforated antenna can be read from a distance with easy-to-implement higher gain antennas. Specific details on this patent-pending technology are only available under a mutual non-disclosure agreement. Eigent would consider partnering opportunities with other world-class RFID companies on this product concept.
